Didnt see the ad, no. Must be quite something. I know the beginning/end well. Ulysses ends with the word "yes" and FW ends with the word "the".
It's a hard book to decipher. Even the first word has so many meanings, as does the title. I often wonder if it was declarative or imperative.
Decent enough commentary:
My copy of FW has a very long foreword by Anthony Burgess. I must see if I can find it . From memory he spends several pages explaining the first couple of paragraphs!
