Freedom is relative, you can’t be absolutely free, because your absolute freedom will encroach on the privacy and freedom of others, it is nice to be free in beliefs and ideas, but behavior must be under control.
BUT the big question is who is going to take control.
Decentralized law is a fascinating concept. My brain hurts when I wonder about what it could look like. it should reward more than it punishes. It should be built out of expressing common needs (and common fears?) and reward solutions, rather than selecting “rulers”.
In my opinion the Swiss system is the one that is the closest to it, yet still so far away.
