I am unable to install whitenoise on my degoogled google pixle 9, i download from the zapstore, app verifier passes and then followed by a message “something went wrong” unable to download. any guidance how to install whitenoise successfully on a degoogled phone?

That's odd, it should work in zapstore.

Can you download zapstore alpha and see if its a problem there too?

Hi Max 😉 i downloaded whitenoise from github in my download folder, clicking on the whitenoise-0.2.1-arm64-v8a.apk opens up the app verifier however, the installation process doesn’t start.

It stays on the app verifier or when i close and go back to the download it just goes again to the app verifier ☹️

Similar when downloading the zapstore Alpha, goes to the app verifier, green tick box but nothing happens.

What am i doing wrong here?

Seems like you configures app verifier to open by default any apk. Change that in the app verifier app settings.

Hi Max, thanks a mill for your support here much appreciated 🙏👍 I managed by following the step provided by Alien Investor: Open Downloads folder

Long-press the APK → Open with

Select Package Installer 👍 profile set up done successfully.
