I feel sorry for people who live in California. It’s the globalists’ test tube for socioeconomic experiments.

If you want to know the latest trend in reaching absolute control and people unknowingly giving up their freedoms, basically watching sheeple do its thing, watch what they’re doing to California. Watch it burn and fail.

Yeah but the food is second to none.

I wonder if there will ever be a tipping point the other way, or if all the people who would influence that just wind up leaving?

There has to be.. it's simply not there yet.

they might have the best food in the world by quality, variety, and availability :)

Sure but what good is good food and availability if people don't feel safe and everything is expensive.

sounds like you've never lived there

I have for two years. But I've also been to most of the world.. when it comes to food, there are definitely better places. At least that suits my taste.

Some things need to fail so something beautiful can arrise

No need to feel sorry for me. I quite like it here. A place need not be defined by its government, and certainly not it's central government. I have lived in Northern, Central, and Southern California and the experience is quite different from one region to the next. While there are many things that may not align with my beliefs within the government and cultural influences, and this can be difficult to deal with sometimes, I can still get along with my neighbors, live my life, raise a family, and enjoy the extraordinary natural beauty of the place I live. The government tries hard to make things worse from time to time, but in the long run it is no match for the enduring land and people. Rural/small town vs. Big City is a better hureistic for me than California vs. Texas or some other state. I've seen the pictures that you post and California certainly doesn't hold a monopoly on natural beauty, but the mountains, coast, rivers, and forests of California shouldn't be dismissed just because of a government, or because of the degredation of it's cities.

California big city and rural are day and night. I've seen most of it, maybe moreso than most locals have. It is one of the most beautiful states in all of the US precisely because of its eco diversity. I lived and worked there for two years. I surfed during the day and hit the mountains for snowboarding at night. Can't do that in many places. It's mostly why I feel sorry for most. I don't think they know the gem of a state they live in. Still, it's the people that make the place.

Well said.

Viva beautiful CA, hear, hear! Well said.

i love california, but not as much as hawai'i!

And NYC

This post is so hilarious. The only other place besides SF I’ve lived is NY and these are the best places in the world to be, to me, besides Paris. To each their own 🙏🏻

I’ve lived in CA for 19 years and love it. This is not my experience. The innovation in our state influences the world ☮️💜🌺
