i say skip all that and go to a milk diet.
the yeast are starved out progressively.
i know within 4 hours every time i eat something that bad bacteria and yeasts like, because i can taste the decomposed proteins and the acids they produce.
i've had only lactose sugar in my diet for a month now except for a few incidents of beer and wine drinking and the longer it goes on, the more awesome my mouth feels.
lactose doesn't give them the start they need to start feeding on the gunk.
next level after this is yoghurt only. the lactobacillus/acidophilus not only help by half digesting the milk without heat or oxidation, but outcompete any other bacteria for the lactose you have still got in the yoghurt.
and yeah, you have to add the fat to most forms of cow milk. 4% fat is not enough for calories, yoghurt only i got keto flu after one day, and fixed it by adding butter to the yoghurt.
goat and sheep milk, on the other hand, are typically 6-7% and this hits the sweet spot for correct calorie per weight intake.
i appreciate all the good points and advice from the OP but you can skip all of it if you just go straight to yoghurt. I mean ALL OF IT. i so infrequently feel anything wrong in my mouth now that i keep forgetting to brush. but there's nothing to clean out anymore, except the odd bit of muscle fibre or sinew from when i eat meat.
