My wife asked me if I miss Moroccan pancakes with amlou, and now it’s all I can think about.

They look eerily similar to the Lebanese Quatayef 😍 😋

Yes! My Lebanese grandmother used to make them.

I freaking love them so much! Might have to make some this week 🤤

🤤

I LOVE that combination beghrir + honey + amlou 🤤

Divine. I think I tried every spot in Tangier that served them.

I need to try this!

def gonna go get some tonight, but then this version:

rgaïf/msemen >>>

I am green with envy. I miss them all.

try and find an arabic bakery nearby, or wait for thou wife to make 'em ofcourse. those would be the tastiest ofc

No, such bakeries here in Nashville, at least that I’ve found. She makes some great dishes, but this is not in the repertoire.

My longing continues.

I’d roll them up and eat them on walks like a burrito. 😆

love it hahah

Oh no she didn't just share a picture of Msemen 🤤🤤🤤

She has a great taste 💕

These look amazing! So fluffy. I can imagine how they taste. Probably just melt in your mouth?

#[1] Is your wife Moroccan? I didn't know that. So you're one of us??? Ooooh! Come here brother, you get a hug 🤗

She is. From Tétouan, originally.

Hugs always welcome. 🫂
