Sure, you can put “tokenized equities” on Bitcoin. They won’t be bearer assets like a UTXO and (I hope to god) everyone involved knows that.

I’m personally not interested in “digital assets”, despite their potential use in emerging markets that lack equity infrastructure, because I expect public equities to get demonetized and cut down to size. I.e. I see their TAM (as a % of total global wealth) to be *negative*. I’d rather focus on Bitcoin, whose TAM % I see as a 300x-400x from here.

“Digital assets” is DEI busy work for suits, fluff from the marketing department to make the firm seem innovative and like they’re keeping up with the times. “Well, they have a digital assets department at their firm, we need one too.” It’s yet another way to leech off of Bitcoin’s monetization that will ultimately leave its proponents spiritually unfulfilled, especially given the opportunity cost of focusing on Bitcoin instead.
