Rawr!! Plot holes!! So noying... Aliens (aka Alien 2) less than halfway through they take away all the GI Joe's ammo cuz it could hit the fusion reactor and blow everyone up. Yes! Do that! But no, they walk into the nest of aliens with no guns. Wtf.

Excellent film. A. They think the colonists are still alive at that stage of the film. B. A thermonuclear explosion would not be particularly healthy for the marines either. Nuking the site from orbit… well that’s an idea.
I like how they didn't expect the future to put surveillance cameras everywhere. If they had, they could've just watched everything and concluded they should just nuke it.
