The way I did it was I checked people's follow list and followed everybody. As Nostr is right now, it gets you mostly quality follows.
Only recently I've started to unfollow some people of they're obvious grifters, clout-chasers or desperate attention-seekers.
With 1700+ follows and a variety of time zones, my TL is animated enough at any given time too.

I think Iris (a desktop Nostr client in case you're not aware) has a "Follow all" button when you are checking someone's follow list. It may be another client, can't remember now, but I used it extensively. On iphone Plebster has that feature, Damus doesn't.
I'm using Plebstr on Android. But I can swap to Iris if you think it's better.
Can I use two clients simultaneously in different devices? Sorry if my questions sounds absurd.
