P.S. I guess the rule with the highest zap isnโ€™t fair cause I will be having all of your zaps ๐Ÿ˜… Just comment your bid price and I will choose the highest bid within 24 hours and then you will make a public zap on the note!

We need a proper auction / bidding nip eventually.

Yeah I agree ! I tried my best to figure it out on here but seems like commenting the bid amount in sats and in the end making a public zap on the note as a proof of payment is the best way to handle it rn

no no - read my note above... you can have more than one winner as long as the total zaps cover the cost of the prize...

example. A prize costs 100k sats to buy

160k sats are collected, so the top two zappers win a prize

380 sats are collected, so the top four zappers win a prize

we could get the guys over at scarce.city to solve this problem...

You have just stumbled on a genius idea!! Let the highest zap take the book BUT then all the rest of the zaps go towards the second book, if these zaps exceed the cost of the book, you go to the third book and so on!!

This is a genius way of using zaps!!

Marketplace implemented in the client would fix this
