Value for value is where media and content creators get streamed sats from followers instead of having sponsors that could potentially manipulate the content creators’ message.
so like, where is the value in that economy?
yeah, Do i get paid only when the you see the value? Or is it a subscription model you pay for montly
people give their opinions out for FREE, the market is so oversaturated right now, that if you make a token out of it the token's value is less than worthless. it boggles the mind to see people suggest this model.
Maybe it’s an unreachable utopia. I think bitcoin is giving us the best chance to stream sats to those we appreciate for their content. I don’t see a value for value economy popping up in one day. But overtime it could be the best deterrent against media propaganda.
i dont see a way to bootstrap it either. most ideas arent new, most people are idiots and most people enjoy the mindless firehose of banality. this makes a value economy impossible by design.
mass hysteria will push people towards breaking news. Breaking news causes havoc and separation in people. You cannot fix it. You can arm yourself with enough information to critically analyse what is not true. How can you use bitcoin here to deter? It doesn't make sense to me.
You can pay for somebody to provide you with information, but even then its you who has to analyse, you can't just depend on what they say, if you do, its just the same anyway.
the medium for exchange of value is irrelevant. i wish people understood the "problem" is the human condition.
Yup, in a civilization that's focused on hyper specialisation, you can never solve this issue. Give people balanced lives and they're magically helping themselves into betterment

that should also be balanced by policies that allow for balanced lives. If my quality of life is only determined by the amount of wealth I bring in, then you can be assured that I'll play the game by any means possible to make myself comfortable. I do not want to sacrifice my goals when the system thinks its okay to fuck me over
i cant see the transparency of bitcoin doing anything to stop the tides of the war mongers. all i see is the method they will utilize to consolidate power.
