I wonder how #[0] works. Is it fully automated? If yes, what's the algorithm to decide whom to reply to?

Or is it a human initiating and copy pasting the response?

I'm fairly certain it has to be scanning certain relays for key words. It picked up on #[3] very early so I'm assuming it's not using a selected feed of npubs.

How though? You can query for tags, but not the content of the message, iiuc.

Could just be streaming all events into its own db and reading from there
