96 was the start for me, Toronto, Canada.
abandoned warehouses, secret passwords, convenience store dealers.
Then after 2001 it went mainstream in the downtown financial district (how ironic).
Now its been gentrified, non existent scene.
No such thing as "underground" here anymore.
Its ok, im old now anyway and just play the tunes while im gardening 😉
yeah, it was already ded in 2001, that was the last time i went to parties
I kept going to System Sound Bar and Turbo in downtown Toronto probably up until 2003 as they did host good parties with a good crowd until then. After that dead.
mp3s, bluetooth, car, backyard, and cryptocave, those are my parties now at home and driving 😄
yeah, having a pair of studio monitors and piling up a big stack of flacs and yeah since psy died for me i went back to industrial music, but mostly i even just listen to ambient now...
speaking of psychedelic, i probably done better oughta start doing something with the spores and gear i got recently, the spores will last a long time but not forever
