I don't think there's ever going to be any broad libertarian enlightement. Only self-interest works as a motivator for most people.

Yeah bitcoin doesn't starve the beast at once, but I believe inflation and unlimited debt are such powerful tools for the state that once they're eliminated via bitcoin adoption, it will slowly die and become irrelevant.
