I have a theory.

SEC is planning to attack all the centralised ethereum staking pools before the "Shanghai upgrade" enables withdrawals.

This will force things like "stETH" to depeg and platforms like "Lido finance" to collapse.

Eth gets regulated as a security to protect consumers, and after some short term pain, we all eventually live happily ever after marching further towards a Bitcoin standard.

Interesting theory.

Did ETH devs even give a date yet when they plan to Shanghai their users? 🍿

April apparently. Until they push it out lol

🤣🤣🤣 good point.

Didn't someone have a massive thread on all the years they kicked the can on ETH 2.0 (aka the mErGe)?

Marty Bent maybe?

Thanks! I'll be sure to revisit after my Twitter hiatus ends in April. 🤙
