NOT doing a podcast... need to record some general project info videos & don't know where to begin or what to do.

Amazon reviews and "content creator" product suggestions lead you to what they want you to buy (iPhone stuff) & I need simple PC stuff.

Suggestions for affordable lights/camera & mic for small indoor studio space?

My podcast setup cost me about alil under $200usd. I got cheap light set with green screen and a cheap mic and arm set.

My desktop runs Debian Linux, I use a simplescreenrecorder to capture, kdenlive to edit videos, and a raspberry pi server to host own cast to stream. You could also setup on zap.stream and odysee.com to stream and host, as alternatives/compliments to YouTube.

I got a used yeti mic for a hundred pounds or so. Pretty good for the very occasional pod I do.
