Saturday Evening Post, Architechural Digest, Look, LIFE, Nat'l Geo, Collier's, Harper's ... all part of my growing-up years. Today, I tend to enjoy cooking/dining mags: Bon Appetit, Food & Wine, Cook's Illustrated. One of the ones I subscribed to went all digital and I just said bye-bye.

I like to highlight, also copy and paste quotes. I treat physical books like they’re going to be resold in an hour as brand new. You can’t even tell I read them.

My wife on the other hand will dog ear books. Makes me crazy. When we first met, she was at my apt, reading one of my magazines and ripped out a recipe she liked. I looked at her and I think she worried she might not make it out alive.
