This will only allow public posts, which is equivalent to regular community functionality. Edit that and you should get the ability to create private posts.
I looked in every setting I can find, inside the group, my profile, and general settings and I can't find exactly where I can set the group to closed. Any help would be appreciated, hodlbod.
Ah, I'm guessing you're not logged in by private key? NIP 44 support is basically non-existent right now, which means you can't set groups up to be private. So basically you have access only to open communities right now. You _can_ log in with your nsec to get access immediately, but I don't recommend it. I'm working on getting NIP 44 support in Alby ASAP, but maybe wait until that's landed to continue experimenting.
