It /is/ The Process. What you see is a snapshot. A snapshot is not alive. The Process is entangled everywhere, at all scales.

Where does The Process come from? No different from asking where does The Universe come from.

The organ is alive

The organism is alive

The ecosystem is alive

The earth is alive

The galaxy is alive

There is no bottom, there is no top to aliveness. The presupposition of a third person observation implies that there exists a first person to observe.
