About a year ago I was talking to a middle-aged woman and somehow the topic of abortion came up
She said it couldn't be murder because it wasn't a human being
I asked what it was instead
She responded "No, it can't be. I had an abortion"

Wow, that shows how it's not based on logic and rationality but rather subjective personal experience and self-justification. And it's very selfish and self-serving.
I think she realized what she had done. I dropped the topic - it's up to her whether she'll listen to her conscience or not.
