If the state is making it's citizens poor and miserable all the people who realistically can leave will leave. Then you're left with an entire economy of bitter and unmotivated workers forced to stay behind. I'm already seeing it when trying to run my small business.

I think everyone basically ends up around the same income. The lower upper and middle class squeezed into the bottom while they're lifted with benefits. A few 0.1% percenters living on the periphery.

We're all hoping for a moonshot with bitcoin but maybe its purpose will be giving you enough to get out and setup somewhere else.
