Ethiopia To Become The First African Country To Start Bitcoin Mining

Ethiopian Investment Holdings (EIH) recently signed a $250 million memorandum of understanding with Hong Kong-based West Data Group's Center Service PLC to initiate Bitcoin mining. This collaboration is part of Ethiopia's broader strategy to become a data center hub in Africa, projecting a $5.4 billion industry by 2027.
