Question

I have started to feel like the sats have a different valuation in nostr than what the official market price suggests. I mean that 1000sats does not feel like 20$cents but in valuation closer to a dollar.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is it just the anticipation of future possibilities that I am counting in?

Anyway, nostr zaps have made it intuitive to think value in satoshis - independent of "currency conversion" rate. This is a great leap towards wider usage.

I’ve been wondering about this too. It’s seems way off sometimes. I don’t think it’s the case now, but I see a future where clients monetize by charging a small fee to zap instead of polluting the site with adds.
