I've actually considered going there, on vacation, with my dad. There and Scottland, to the sept castle. I've been there, before and it's a magical, deserted place.

The DNA test he took said Irish and Swedish, at first, and then it got corrected to the Isle of Skye, where our ancestor, the Viking King of Dublin, Ásketill, retreated to. That matches the family lore and the paperwork trail.

But the African part is more mysterious and diverse. Ancestry spread all along the top half of Africa, from Sicilly to Congo.
