One question — I setup my checkmark (afaik — seems to show up on Primal), but on Damus, I can’t get it to populate.
Should I do something additional in my profile to get it to trigger?

I noticed that you've set a nostr address, but there was no nostr.json found at https://media3labs.com/.well-known/nostr.json?name=metadavid 🥺 If you're doing it yourself, make sure you've named the file correctly and put it in the correct directory, otherwise please contact your nostr address provider 😊 Once you've fixed it, just post a note including #checkmyaddy and I'll check it again for you!

This is going to sound weird but it has worked for others that have had the problem.
Go to https://nosta.me and sign in. Then give Damus another shot after a few minutes. I have no idea why, but I've seen it work for numerous folks that had replication issues.
