I believe the major kryptonite of libertarianism and anarchism is how idealistic they are. Modern societies have created way too many millions of losers that will/do refuse to govern themselves and take accountability. Thoughts? #asknostr

the criteria for these types of societies vs the one we have now are not symmetrical.

For anarchism to succeed doesn't mean that everyone will be that. just the ones best suited to it. People who need leaders will still find them.

Interesting. Deferring to leaders as an option. Opt-in. Sounds nice lol

That's not really what I said.

My mistake. Disregard.

I think that if you give those million loosers hope of a future - and I am saying not the future or better future on purpose, that they will listen.

I’ve seen so many broken people. They had hopes, they are smart, but system took it all.

They are now hopeless. Some of them not able to understand what a solution is. Yet. But I hope we can change that.

Great point. Hope can motivate accountability.

Self governed or not people wont want their stuff messed with.

we don't think these systems are utopia inducing, just preferable to the statist quo. there will still be rules and leaders. we just want society based upon voluntary means

Makes sense. I hadn’t considered the opt-in perspective.
