Is the election the Black Swan?
Interested in people’s thoughts on this. There will be a Black Swan. There will be another nice correction (that’s good, keep dry powder).
Things are almost too quiet right now. That’s always what gets my attention.

I think by definition the election can’t be a black swan, everyone is making bets about it so it is hedged one way or another already
Hard to say. It could be but it's a real toss up of which way they'll take it.
Confident something will happen though, and it will very likely go against what most expect. Could be a major bank collapse, war, an attack, etc.

Yes. That’s my feeling as well. It’s been eerily quiet for months now.
My theory is that the craziness/black swan will occur after the election. Trump may get into office, and things might appear calm initially. But once the mass deportations start, that's when the real action will begin.
