Certain individuals in Bitcoin are angry or are feigning anger about the fact that BTC is also being used as C or HA while they prefer it be used solely as DP (MoE/UoA).

The filter crowd thinks they can "fix" BTC such that it will only work as DP.

This is delusional & intractable.

BTC is a technology platform as much as it is a money, a canvas or anything else.

It is novel in this respect in the realm of scientific discoveries & inventions.

Ironically, the filter crowd propose a mechanism (limit OP_RETURN) that hinders some of the most active DP users: Those using BIP47 Paynyms & Whirlpool Coinjoins (Tx0).

If the filter crowd got their way actual DP users would be limited in their ability to use BTC privately.

*Until such time as workarounds are developed. **Which they most certainly would be. ***Only a matter of time.

So who really benefits?

My suspicion is the Filter Crowd are a front for moneyed interests that actually want not JPEG inscriptions, but Private DP usage to be restricted.

We shall see.
