Anyone that embraces censorship is mentally compromised and should not be trusted or listened to, especially on nostr.

I didn't waste my time listening.

Wait? Why shouldn't we listen to people who accept censorship?

We all want filters. I do don't want to have to wade through endless spam on every platform.

We also don't want kids being taught every conceivable idea. We are only interested in teaching the true. So we have to censor.

I agree with the general point, however, who should have the power to censor? Basically just parents. But in reality any organization that people willingly submit to as a teaching authority also has that power. If I attend a university, I will try to chose one that will filter the crap for me. If I attend church I expect them to censor false doctrine from the pulpit.

I did not however submit to the government as a teaching authority. I use them as a regulatory authority. I expect them to limit what a person might do rather than what a person might hear or say.

Separation of teaching and state!

You. You bear responsibility for yourself and if you are blessed with children, for them. No one else. Abdicating that responsibility is how we've ended up here.

Tools for filtering can be useful, but, that's not what that turd proposes and he's bent into the woke end of things and that ALWAYS turns authoritarian. Sure, on nostr that's not exactly a problem yet, but, anyone taking ideas from someone is that philosophical background is letting in poison, and I don't have the time or desire to bother with that. So, I call it out for what it is.
