Yep, you need to unlock it with fingerprint to authorise transactions requiring the hardware wallet!

Not at present, but it makes sense to unlock using biometrics as it validates the authorised user is making the transaction.
Yes but I’ve never liked using biometrics as a security feature since I saw a video years ago of teens opening their super drunk friend’s phone by holding it up to his face, and I realized there were many attack vectors with biometrics
Agreed, but I wouldn't leave the hardware device in my residence / workplace etc. Still need to treat it like a multisig.
