A free and open society is dependent on people being able to freely and openly exchange ideas and value with one another. Nostr and Bitcoin are the best tools in the world for this. The people who don’t “get it” yet will get it eventually.

True and probably will continue even if they discover nostr. I think though that enough people seem to be aware that “something” is wrong with the big social networks even if they don’t quite know what or why. I have faith that as nostr apps continue to get better and offer more features that are actually useful for people, then people will begin to see and feel the difference of using nostr vs. Meta or TikTok. Probably won’t happen fast though.
There are too many consumers and very few producers. The herd will be left behind and only a select few will rise.

The sad part is these tools are very brittle and need a lot of TLC.
The hopeful part is that we're all just getting started and ideas cant be killed.

I am more than hopeful of what it can become. The improvements over what it was merely 2 years ago are phenomenal, mindblowing. And development doesn’t seem to be slowing down.
