Indeed. Really the concept, questions extend to the present moment.

Whatever the date, and whatever the standard, there will be suffering and work to do. Today's work is monumentally important. At this very moment we are laying the foundations for the future. Everything really hinges on the choices being made today.

That's why I'm so stoked to see not only the technology, but the community which has emerged around it. So much of building the future boils down to creating the maps of that future and consensus as to what it will be.

I think a life under a Bitcoin standard would be one of true liberty, and one of wonder and discovery. The Singularity is nearer.

The life I've claimed now it definitely a reflection of that future. Thanks to my weirdness I recognized the possibilities around a decade ago. For the last five years I've been living my personal dream of not having a job, living offgrid in an Earthship, herding goats, programming small personal projects, regenerative agriculture and so and on.

I'm 99% on a Bitcoin standard already, only using dollars when I have to. I run a node (hit me up for a channel). I think of myself as working for Bitcoin: Bitcoin the organism, the network, the only true DAO.

I'm on permanent tax revolt. My method is to simply be poor. The less I earn, the less I am taxed.
