Many are insecure.

Many were brought up the wrong way.

Many acquired the wrong ideas along the way.

Many have lived sad lives in isolation.

Whatever the root of hate cannot be countered with hate.

Keep spreading love and empathy.

Demand the authorities do the job of keeping people accountable for their actions without prejudice.

This too shall pass.
