Happy “Independence” day! Where we celebrate our “freedom” in a country that forcibly shuts down small businesses at gunpoint, performs experimental medical procedures on children, censors free speech, steals money from its citizens to escalate meaningless foreign conflicts into world wars, uses fascist media outlets as propaganda to foster division, encourages racism, sexualizes children, misuses corrupt congress to perform show trials, holds its own citizens as political prisoners and withholds energy resources from its people. Sorry … fuck the USA. Not participating. I’ll be spending the day celebrating the independence I create for my damn self.
