Natural resources were destroyed in Africa and the Americas through European migration and exploitation. What did everyone expect, that people left with no resources and devastated lands would simply stay where they were? Sit still and die of hunger?
What is happening now is a logical consequence of that history.
Agreed. In fact I just had this exact conversation over the holidays.
However large parts of the so called migration crisis is man-made and escalated on purpose. The side effect is growing racism across all affected nations.
In other words, it's working out as planned.
Its a freaking loop man. Just at different scales.
