Struggle to sleep?

Here is the trick. 30 mins before you sleep, in a quiet room, stay comfortable with dim light or no light. Sit down where your back is supported or lean backwards on a rocking chair or any chair comfortable or headboard.

Have a candle either a fake candle or real one. The latter is preferrable. Stare at the lights of the candle whilst maintaining to feel your breathing (in and out) and feel your body senses.

You will be surprised how quickly you fall asleep.

โš ๏ธSAFETYโš ๏ธ: Put the candle on a safe place away from other materials that catches fire easily. Make sure that if in case you fall asleep, the candle is safe and it will simply run out of wax and turn off by itself bt placing it in a ceramic or a transparent glass for candles.

A technique I discovered when I was about five that really helps me to fall asleep is to do slow deep breathing for a few minutes, then try to imagine doing any two things simultaneously.

It can be any two things. Like solving a Rubikโ€™s cube and drawing a picture of a rose at the same time. Or imagining building a pyramid of bricks while pruning a tree. It can literally be any two things, so itโ€™s fun thinking about which two to imagine.

Iโ€™m not sure of the mechanism by which it works, but maybe someone else can test it and see if it works for them.

indeed ๐Ÿ’ฏ. Anything that relaxes your mind is helpful. The power of visualising the things you enjoy is it helps you to put your brain to calmness then to sleep.
