Yes I am quite firmly in that camp as well, but intellectually I think #[2] is right.
Like imagine you're an OG with 50,000 BTC right now... Could be argued you have too much Bitcoin lol.
Maybe we are all already richer than that compared to 2040 standards
People who got into Bitcoin later sometimes argue the distribution isn’t fair. I sort of thought this way in 2017 when I got in. I thought, I’ll never be able to accumulate enough.
Now all of my income comes from mining Bitcoin and while I’ll never believe it’s enough, it’s more than I thought possible at the beginning.
For me Bitcoin has become a lifestyle. Even homesteading, growing food, guns, horses, etc. it’s all Bitcoin.
