Might be a controversial take but Freedom of speech is useless in a population that has been subjected to years of psyops, forming LAYERS upon layers of cognitive distortions, critical thinking helplessness, ideological conditioning and manufactured false realities of opinions

Even when exposed to the truth, no matter their IQ the sheer depth of past psychological warfare renders them incapable of processing information or making informed decisions.

If I could fund or back one thing immediately it’d be non lucrative global effort whether private or governmental to de-traumatize the population and restore independent thinking. Without this, politicians, corporations, and tech companies will continue exploiting the mass previous psychological damage, amplifying it exponentially. And compounding control

If left unchecked, critical thinking will erode entirely, and decision-making will be fully OUTSOURCED to whichever party , corporation , technology that has successfully captured the population’s cognitive framework. Or the Highest Bidder

The end result : Nothing more than human bots, parroting their overlords’ opinions proudly calling it “freedom of speech.” But it’s nothing but multiple hive mind of scripted pre-assigned discourse

We shouldn’t base the future of individual sovereignty on the hopes of “Good guys” taking over the discourse , that would just perpetuate the problem , instead we should fortify every single individual against cognitive hijacking making them immune and ensuring they can think independently and reclaim autonomy

What do you think is the cause for the layers of distortion?

Here's what I think of:

- censorship / propaganda in school

- censorship / propaganda on the news

- censorship / influencing on social media

Freedom of speech directly counters the censorship and propaganda. For example, thanks to freedom of speech, you might hear about an idea that you were shielded from your entire life.

So it seems to me that this phrase is entirely backwards, it is the lack of freedom of speech, and the lack of free access to information (Programmed by "the feed" versus access/discovery of relevant information) that causes this problem of "distorted reality" in the first place.

Am I missing something here?
