Found the mother load today 🤟

I’m curious as to if anyone knows how to keep this flush going? (Somewhat as a perpetual grow).

For instance.

This wood is an oak tree.

Can I, cut a fresh oak tree down, then lean fresh oak logs against the infected tree.

Thereby inoculating the fresh logs.

I’m going to give it a go regardless.

My thinking is to somehow prop the new logs up off the ground but against the infected tree.

Maybe with a skid. Not sure. May make update posts as the years go.

Not sure on the strain or if it's something you'd want to cultivate.

What you could do is cut the oak & sandwich some mycelium/shrooms in between the fresh cuts.

Keep in mind most trees have compounds that inhibit fungi. These are usually gone within 2-4 weeks of cutting the tree down.
