What do you dislike about monero? Without mentioning USD price which is a social construct and can change. And without mentioning adoption, which could also change in the future. Help me understand.

It's not about USD price it's about price period. Measure it however you want but 5 years ago you could have bought a shitload more of eggs with one manero then you can now. I don't care about USD I care about what my money will buy me. You can use Bitcoin pseudonymously. Therefore I don't see a use case for monero. Which would be why the market continues to devalue it against Bitcoin. Money converges to one. You don't need multiple. It was the same story with monetary medals.

That makes sense. I still think if people become more aware of the privacy concerns, when we are in a post NGU focused place, monero could gain value. Looking at history, you are correct. It's gone down against bitcoin. I just wonder if privacy became a priority, could that change. And could not both remain relevant if we want privacy?

Most people will never give a shit about their privacy. I'm sorry but I don't think that will ever change.

And if you do care about your privacy there are ways to preserve it and also use Bitcoin as money

True and I do. I mine my own coins from the sun, so i am good. But it isnt easy to be private on bitcoin for most people.

Also it's monetary policy continually changes.

Good point. I don't know a lot about its history.
