November 27 marks the feast day of multiple Japanese Catholic martyrs. The majority were ethnically Japanese members of the Dominican Confraternity of the Rosary. Multiple were members of aristocratic families.

There exists little information on their individual lives, but here are some of their names: Alexius Nakamura, Anthony Kimura, Bartholomew Sheki, Thomas Kotenda, Romanus Motoyama Myotarō, Michael Takeshita, Matthias Kosaka & Matthias Nakano, Leo Nakanishi.
