What are some examples you are experiencing?

there’s a lot of noise out there with parenting though. tons of dumb fucking toys and things sold to parents that don’t know any better. for example, don’t put your kid in a bouncer. like wtf why

They are the greatest joy and the greatest heartache all rolled into one,mine have taught me more about myself than I ever imagined.

And you get to dad joke and wear jorts

Having a kid is just realizing in real time why your parents looked so tired all the time.

Being a parent teaches you every day the lesson ‘I can do better. I can try harder.’

True, but to come to this realization requires a certain level of luxury.
