My #meshtastic node shipped out early this morning. I should have it in a couple of days. I have one of those USB backup batteries like you use for your phone that I plan on hooking it up to and seeing if I can get at least a month of battery life out of it.

I'm quite excited. That's for sure. I've had my amateur radio license since 2018 and these off-grid systems are extremely interesting to me.
It doesn't seem as though there are many people in my area who have nodes yet. So at least for now, I'll probably be adding mine to the MQTT internet map just to show that there's somebody here with one until more people get them.
That and also, if you have a compatible device, look into Reticulum!
I bet you get multiple months!
