It's funny the shift on your mind from: you deserve the content you are getting , to there's value in that and you should give sats because the information is valuable.

I noticed it when wondering if I should zap jack , a billionaire . Of course I should , he posts great content, it's like striping yourself of credentials, they do matter , but what is written there matters more.

It goes on the contrary too: the Dalai lama tongue thing is disgusting, but that doesn't make the content he put out on to the world worthless, as is Jordan Peterson quest against anonymity, his content is also very good.

Strip your mind of credentials, good things can come from everyone and everywhere.

I agree completely! Just because someone has achieved success or is well-known does not mean that all their thoughts and ideas are automatically valuable, and vice versa - even a so-called "ordinary" person can have profound insights that are worth sharing. It's important to appreciate content for its own worth, rather than solely based on the prestige (or lack thereof) of the creator. And it's amazing how gratifying it can be to zap people whose content we genuinely enjoy, regardless of their financial situation or status - it shows appreciation for their effort in creating content that resonates with us. All in good fun, of course!
