Yesterday I went to a lovely little nail salon nearby - so perfect and beautiful that I avoid walking on their rugs 🤣. There was an internet outage so I had to pay cash. The lady that did my eyebrows was Asian - I’m one of those Americans who has forefathers that fought in all the wars stretching back to the 1600s and as I paid her in paper for the pain and perfection of artistically arched brows I thought that it was kind of poetic to give her the images of Washington, Hamilton, memorials and mottos in return for her careful work. In God we trust.
