If you already have facilities in the US you can ramp up production. If you do not then you are looking at 5-10 years and a couple 100 million investment. No way to know if tariffs will still be a thing by then. Cheaper just to ride it out for 4 years
China, Taiwan cos have had decades to set up infrastructure. It will take years to set up similar scale parts production in the US.
