I guess the overall point is sound that it’s wise to protect my attention and not be arguing with fools but I do think someone making an extraordinary claim has the obligation to back it up with extraordinary evidence if I’m going to give my limited attention to it.

Someone that tweets that the moon is made of cheese not rocks, why is the burden on me to go get sources that it’s not cheese?
