Yes! I thinks a great interpretation! For me these mazes remind of proof of work in that creating them is a random endeavor.
Is have a start point and end point and a basic shape, but all the stuff in between is unknowable beforehand.
In many ways, as the creator, I am wondering through the maze myself as I create it (or as the maze creates itself).
