What does the government have to do with your marriage? Crowder is a conservative. Go to church and get married. You don't need legitimacy from the state.

In ancient Greece and Rome, marriages were private agreements between individuals and estates. Community recognition was what mafr it legitimate The state had a limited interest only determining if offspring were citizens and enforcing monogamy because polygamy could destabilize society.

# Would it though?

Would it disabilize a society more than unchecked baby-daddies?

I think that the state gets more of what it incentivises.

Of course you get more of what you pay for. Do you agree with me that the State incentives women to remain single and have children out of wedlock?

I agree

I think that goes a long way to stabilizing society. So what is the government's interest in creating more of this?

The Government has been more sucessful at destabilizing societies than sabilizing them, since I was born. Maybe destruction and chaos bring about opportunities that are "too good to pass up." As far as the why: demonic influences, personal greed, moral confusion, and power hunger are some of the reasons I think. I think when the state forsakes God but also uses Him as a political prop to gain votes, whilst destroying innocents and undermining the gospel, you are already headed to ruin.

Good answer.

I also was talking to my wife the other day, in saying that collectively speaking, men have failed at taking the responsiblities of manhood, and have deferred them to the state. Then as the state grows, it makes it harder for a man to rule his household, as he is being undermined by the state. For example, Wife can take child to Cali and have gender surgery against fathers will, does not have even a vote on the matter. Quite the situation man has gotten himself into. Also I do believe that the pulpit has taken a "deal with the devil" as the 501c3 status, like an agreement with the state to stay in their lane or loose the tax status. Time to relearn what being a man is about and start taking the responsibilities that come with manhood. Gonna be hard for alot of people, including myself, but legislation is not going to fix the culture. My opinions.

So much for patriarchy. The man/husband/father has been undermined at every turn by the State. It's almost like they oppose family structure, and God's design at every level.
