what would you like the people to do?
It’s not up to me but maybe we should consider if we want to utilize manipulative behaviors such as engineered fomo. Have to ask ourselves if we really want to recreate the legacy world as is.
maybe making it an option that’s up to the streamer to choose? as a lot of the big streamers run themselves as a business, and would prefer those tools to exist 🤔
i would completely get it if you decide to stay away from this completely, just think this discussion could be great to understand more the fundamental direction we as the community would like to see it going towards
I like badges but don’t support the idea of streaks. Maybe total x unlocked is ok.
But like I said, it’s not up to me.
Personally, even good for business is not enough to justify manipulation of that sort but you could also make the case that social metrics of any kind do harm too. (Eg follower count)
